The new Traverse runs on a 2.5L turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift. The 2.5L Turbo engine has variable valve timing and spark ignition direct ignition and yields 328 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 326 lb.-ft. of torque at 3500 rpm.
Exterior
Standard exterior features on the Traverse’s LT base trim include 18-inch Grazen metallic aluminum wheels, bright upper door moldings, and black roof-mounted side rails. For increased privacy, there’s deep-tinted glass on the rear windows and windshield. The rear windows also have solar-absorption capabilities, blocking out the sun’s rays to keep your passengers cooler.
The new Chevrolet Traverse also comes with an AutoSense power liftgate that can open in four different ways. Open the liftgate when your hands are full by holding the key fob anywhere within three feet of the back of your Traverse for longer than three seconds.
