I had an appointment January 2nd and the vehicle was there for 8 hours and not even looked at. I was told when I brought it back it would be "pushed through" and looked at the same day. I brought it back the following Monday, January 6 for engine light and smell of gasoline. The reciept states the engine light checked and apparently only the 02 sensor needed replacement. I then was stuck at a gas station 4 days later when my vehicle wouldnt start and I needed to replace the battery that was critically low. My vehicle still smells of gas so it was taken to a mechanic and within 30 minutes found the problem. Fuel injector cylinder 6 needs replacement...a part that is covered under the extended warranty and should have been taken care of the day I had to pay the deductible to replace the 02 sensor.

I would have given a 5 start rating, but the service mgr. did not leave notes on my account regarding the service being covered by the dealership/warranty, so no one knew what to do about the charges for the service. He had to be contacted before the work would begin. What if he couldn't have been reached?? Would I have had to drive almost an hour back home, only to have to return another day to have the work completed? P.S. The coffee was great on this visit !! :-)

We called and Morans set an appointment for Monday, Jan 20 at 8 am. We heard nothing until I called Tuesday afternoon and was told by Ashley that a tech was working on it. We stopped by Wednesday to be told first that the tech was working on it but then changed to we were several cars behind and hadn’t been looked at. We asked for loaner and were told there weren’t any and they would put us on a list. Called again Thursday and spoke to Ashley again and told her if they don’t get truck in or we don’t get loaner we would need to take the truck. I asked her to call me back with update. No call. Finally my husband called at 4 and was told they hadn’t worked on the truck. He told them to get the truck ready to be picked up we are coming to get it. After his call, the tech pulled it in and scanned it and Ashley called and told me what was wrong. As I told Ashley the customer service was horrible. She said that WE had a lot of contact and I said no I had a lot of contact with you. We were never called and updated on what the situation was on the truck. Definitely could use more customer service training. My suggestion is if you cannot do service on our vehicle at the time we drop it off for YOUR set appointment, we should have been notified at that time that it would be another 4 days before you could work on it. We would have kept our vehicle. Maybe setup a call system that when you are next in line if necessary to notify you to bring your vehicle back in. I understand that there are factors that affect the work flow but communication from your end would have helped so we could have taken our vehicle back until you could have worked on it.

Called a week ahead and set an appointment for my truck. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told there was not even an appointment set for me. Also, that it may take a few days to even assess my vehicle. So vehicle dropped off on that Tuesday morning. Thursday they updated me (by text only) what repairs were needed. I spoke with the service department to understand the repair and approved the repair. Was told at that time it would be ready Friday afternoon. I had to call at 4pm Friday since i did not have any update. At that moment i was told parts ran late and I would not get vehicle back until Monday. Then the tech spoke with manager and suddenly my vehicle was done and ready for pickup. How does it go from waiting on parts to your vehicle is completed? Communication throughout was bad. Noone even recorded the set appointment on my initial call. I will be finding somewhere else to have my vehicle serviced moving forward and I will not recommend this location to anyone.

Well when I went to get in my car after oil change the check engine light was on. They cleared it and told me it was a known issue with no fix available. Not long after I got home it was back on. I can see why they are discontinuing the Blazer. Its not the personal at Moran's fault they were pleasant and accommodating, it is the fault of Chevrolet. This just may be my last Chevy and I have been an advocate of theirs for a long time and refused to buy foreign. It will be time in Oct to look elsewhere.

Waiting 7 days for an appointment was initial normal experience. Then Began with 3 days of diagnosis when I was expecting completion on first day which is what I incurred for 10,000 and 20,000 mile. The recommendation on 5th day was to replace all tires which I agreed to. When tires did not come in on Monday, I felt 8 days at the dealership was beyond what I could accept. I requested my vehicle back. I left mad as previous 10,000 and 20,000 took 3.5 hours as I waited at a nearby Chevrolet dealership that serviced electric vehicles which Moran did not do in 2022.

My wife brought her car to be looked at and it wasn't till the very end of the day you finally looked at her car. If that wasn't bad enough you told her it would cost $6000.00 to repair the oil leaks and she called me crying about the cost. Do you realize that cost is not far from just replacing the complete engine? On the work order it looks like any place they saw oil, that area would need attention which is so stupid. The oil leak just started and there is no way you can have 4 different areas that are leaking oil. The way you should have explained it to my wife is that you would repair the place you see oil and start there since gravity takes the oil downward. A week after having bought a certified preowned Silverado, I arrived for an appointment I made to get my second key fob programmed (my salesman ordered it). The cost was already covered as part of the vehicle purchase. I sat in the waiting room for 2.5 hours after having been told twice that it wouldn’t take much longer. I was calm, but upset and the service girl knew it. They told me the cost would then be covered. I told them it was already covered as part of the purchase, and they just repeated that it would be covered and I was sent on my way. After waiting an hour, it would be nice to be updated on what’s happening and be made aware that I may be stuck there for a while. In the beginning, I was told this would take 30minutes to possibly an hour.

This is unfair to the individuals who believe in their job and those who show up. I received the letter from Chevrolet about the recall, and my service engine light was on. I proceeded to Moran's service department. The individual read the letter and set an appointment date. The day of my appointment, the service engine light went off. I was told when they checked with the computer that they could not do anything. The next day, I had to drive to Colorado for a medical emergency. That same day I left, the service engine light came back on. While in Colorado, there were two Ice storms. Do to the service engine light, the truck would not remote start. I had to use warm water to open the doors that were frozen. VERY inconvenient, especially when I need to be at the hospital. After a 3,000-mile trip, I returned to Moran's service. The Service Tech (a different individual) walked out to my truck and ran the computer. He came back and apologized because the parts needed to be ordered. He was very Professional and knowledgeable about the issue. After a month, the problem was fixed. If the first individual had walked out and checked my truck with the computer, my first visit. The problem could have been fixed. Saving me a lot of worry and inconvenience. That is why this survey is so unfair, especially to the Service Tech who handled my problem.

Almost a two hour wait to be told a tire could not be fixed. It was already off the car. Also, even after truck pulled in the for repair the sensors were not calibrated. Which is why I went to Moran in PH. Low air sensor indicated wrong tire low. I had just purchased this certified vehicle a few weeks earlier from Moran. Took tire to big box tire center. It was repaired, mounted, and spare put pack in less than 1/2 hour. I purchased and maintained my cars cars from same dealership for 32 years until took over by new owners. I was hoping to start a new relationship with Moran. Not off to good start.

This is seriously the WORST experience I have ever had. This is no exaggeration, no hyperbole. I have never responded to a survey but the owner needs to seriously look at all the one star reviews. These are not keyboard complainers. I make this statement because the complaints are similar- lack of communication, unhonored online appointment times, not following through with what is said will be done. Hard to believe "Kelly" is a manager. She is unprofessional and unaware of herself and the workers. I gladly paid $285 to tow the vehicle to Imlay City Ford after I had already paid $100 to tow it to Moran's. They called me immediately upon arrival of the vehicle and had the car diagnosed in about one hour. I will never buy car or use the service department from Moran's again.

Was not happy when I came to pick my car up. Had 4 new tires and 4 valve stems put on. The estimate was $722.00, when I got the bill it was $941.00. That is a big difference. Was not informed of the labor charge for installing the valve stems, I assumed it was included with the mounting and balance of the tires. I would have kept the old ones on for that much money. The cost of new ones is $80.00 plus labor charge to install. When talking to Ashley, she told me the estimate for the tires was incorrect. The mounting and balance should have been $150.00 not $80.00 that was listed on the print out. These points should have been told to me in the beginning. Ashley did make an adjustment to my bill down to $827.41 and offer me my next oil change for free. Communication is important when someone is getting ready to spend that kind of money. All points should have been explained. I am happy with the performance of the tires but the billing and estimate process needs improvement.

I have never received such horrible service in all my life! My husband and I picked up our new lease car on 5/7/25. Three and a half weeks later the “check engine” light came on. On Friday, May 30, my husband stopped at Moran Chevy in Fort Gratiot to see what the problem could be. A service tech checked for the codes and said that it was something that needed an appointment to fix. My husband made an appointment for 10:30 am on Monday, June 2nd. We dropped the car off that Monday with Ashley in service. She stated “ We may have to keep it OVER NIGHT but would call me to let me know for sure”. I said “ we will be in Port Huron for a few hours and I would stop by before we went home to see where we stand”. We stopped by mid afternoon and Ashley said it wasn’t ready. “Ok, not a problem” The next day, Tuesday June 3rd, I waited until approx. 3:00 pm for Ashley to call me but she didn’t so I called her asking the status of my car. She stated “ THEY HAVE”NT EVEN LOOKED AT IT YET!” I was so stunned I hung up. The next day Wednesday, June 4th, I had my husband call around 4pm since we still hadn’t gotten a call from Ashley. He was not able to get ahold of anyone in service so he talked to Frank our salesman. Frank checked out the situation and called us back stating “Service is going to look at the car first thing in the morning (Thursday, June 5th)”. At around 4:00pm Thursday, my husband called and talked to Frank again to get the status of our car since we had not gotten a phone call yet. About 15-20 minutes later, a man from service called and said our car was ready for pickup. My husband and I arrived at service where a nice young man told us he would bring our car around. I asked for the service manager, Don. Don asked me how he could help me. I asked him why did it take 4 days to RESET the engine light for a problem GM has no fix for? He stated “ we are very backed up” I then asked, why allow customers to make appointments to bring their cars in when you know you can’t service them for days AND why was I not told by Ashley that it might be DAYS not just OVER NIGHT? I would have gotten a loner car if that was the case. He said nothing. So I then expressed that if this is how he handled his department I will not be bringing my car there for service any more. He then said, “OK, I WILL TAKE YOU OFF OUR LIST” and walked away from me. The extreme lack of communication from Ashley is unacceptable. I dropped my car off at my APPOINTMENT time and she never said they were backed up. We were the only ones in the service area so there was no indication they were so busy it would take 4 days to even look at my car. And if you noticed, once we were gone, she never did call us again. We made all the calls to find out what was going on with our car. In an odd twist, Wednesday June 4th, I was at my hair salon when a customer was talking about her horrible experience with service on her truck at Moran. She stated “ there was such a lack of communication when she was dealing with Ashley “. That her truck was fixed and sitting outside, windows down, yet nobody called her to come pick it up. She had gone there to see what was going on when she discovered this. Ashley needs to be fired! The service manager, Don, also needs to be fired! He did NOTHING but stare me in the eyes and say, oh well. Frank stated he was going to talk to the higher ups about the situation. We have not heard a word from anyone as of yet. Because of this horrible experience, my husband and I will not be going back to Moran for any service whatsoever. In three years, when our lease is up, we will hand in our car and go elsewhere for a new one. This car is our 4th 3-year leased car from Moran but it will be the last. I sincerely hope drastic measures are taken as I suggested. No customer should have to experience what my my husband and I went through. John & Lori Schave

I had a 9 AM appointment for a recall on my trax that I was informed would take 15 to 20 minutes, I also had the oil change and the over 35,000 inspection of the vehicle. They told me it would take approximately an hour at two hours. I checked to see if there was an issue with my vehicle at two hours and 10 minutes. They did come and tell me my vehicle was done and that they would bring it into the bay. I stood in the bay, and my vehicle did not arrive. I then went into the automotive area and asked about my vehicle. They pointed at a TV screen and said that it was going through the car wash. After receiving my car, the total time was 2.5 hours with no update provided during the servicing. After being told it would take approximately an hour.

I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this service center. I took my car in a little under two months ago for repairs, and after returning the car twice due to it not being fixed….. my vehicle was finally returned with the same issues still unresolved. Throughout this entire process, communication was abysmal and still is currently. I’ve been charged a significant amount of money, yet the problem I initially brought my car in for are still present. Not only was the service painfully slow, but I also felt like my concerns were dismissed at every step by their lack of action. I understand that delays can happen, but given how long my car has been at the facility, I had hoped for more consistent communication and a quicker resolution. At this point, I’m still waiting for a call from the service manager,Dan …and unfortunately, my car still remains unrepaired while I’ve already incurred costs. If we are unable to resolve this, I will file a complaint with GM, the State of Michigan, the Better Business Bureau, Fox 2 Problem Solvers, Channel 7 Investigators and the Social Media.

Had and appointment for 11:30 for oil change and tire rotation, and I had a tire that losing air and I asked them to please check that, as I’m going out of town on 7/24/25. After waiting, and waiting the serviceman came out with my bill. I asked him if they found anything wrong with my tire, his response was, it wasn’t written down. They also didn’t rotate my tires. They said they could take it back in, I refused. Also, the tires on my Blazer are almost shot with only 16,000 miles on them. Not impressed at all 😡😡😡😡

John from the collision center was wonderful. Everything was quick easy and smooth. From getting my car in and getting an estimate written up to scheduling me in right away to get the work done. Having a nice rental car provided to me. My car was back to me on the day he said it would be done. The work was done properly. John was Outstanding Professional and Courteous. I Would recommend the collision center to anyone and refer them to John. Unfortunately, I don't know his last name at the moment. But, he certainly deserves recognition 👏.

My wife was not happy at all with the way this was handled. The dealership said that the battery was bad, the place where we brought it tested it and said it was good. My wife took the truck back to the dealership. Waiting to see what they come up with this time . They were told to fix any thing that was wrong with truck, they said they could not do a diagnostics check because of a bad battery, but charged us over $2010 , for an oil change and a few minor other issues. Two bad oxygen sensors were not even touched at all.

Was supposed to fix the cylinder 3 misfire code. Did a software update that did not fix anything. I have had the vehicle up about 5 or 6 times. They can't seem to fix this issue. I will keep coming back until they do or the warranty is up. They also tried tell me I had to pay almost 400 dollars for this non fix. That my warranty was expired (per service manager) he was looking at the GM warranty NOT the extended warranty that I bought with the vehicle.. the same one they have used everytime they had the car.. I just want my vehicle to work properly..

When I checked in I told the lady I heard a vibration and needed to be checked. When I picked up my car I assumed they checked it. When I started to drive home the vibration was still there. We had an appointment at 2pm, for just an oil change. 1 hour and 45 minutes later it was done. Terrible wait time for an appointment. It gets worse. We were quoted $79 and at the final check out it was $100. This was for a simple oil change. Our goal is to never use this dealership again.

Service was accommodating with my time, but even adyerv5 hours there, they didn’t remember to check and change windshield wiper, then had to wait for 25 minutes while they communicated to find where my serviced vehicle was parked. Nice check out woman said they could still do it , only be 10 minutes. No. I also felt labor cost was a bit higher for oil change, tire rotation and alignment. Unless it’s a warranty covered problem, I probably won’t go back.

All service people very good. My vehicle was there to address a safety recall. The service receipt had no results or comments about the issue being addressed or what was done. I was told I needed to call GM customer service for that. GM is doing every truck in the book to delay and not address this safety concern. My vehicle should not be driven at all due to the safety risk. I’m a very unhappy past customer and will never buy another GM vehicle due to the corporate mishandling and lack of addressing this safety recall.

I had an appt. set up for Monday at 8am. I was sent a link to be able to see updates on my vehicle that was never updated. I did not receive an update until I called Tuesday to find out my car had not even been looked at yet. I had to follow up daily. Car was not ready until 6pm Thursday. I had a short in a wire on the door where I wasn't able to put down my 3 windows. I also felt my trans was slipping, (rpm's rev up fast sometimes) but they said they did not find anything.

Katie was awesome and super helpful. The oil change and tire rotation was quick. Dealing with the cashier was not fun, however. Not sure of her name but my vehicle had a warranty with the first oil change free and she tried to charge me stating the vehicle was purchased in 2023. I bought it this summer, July of 2025. Aside from that and her lack of customer service, it was great!

I brought my car in for the stabilitrak light and it’s still on and I took a video of it as soon as I picked it up. Also they said they fixed the squeak noise inside and charged me $150 and it still squeaks. They said they can’t figure out the stabilitrak light until it stays on constantly because right now it only comes on for a few seconds and then slides on the road. It’s frustrating to keep bringing it back.

I think an hour and a 1/2 was longer than I expected, given.All I wanted was an oil change in a tire rotation. There was also surprised while in the waiting room, one of your sales associates was telling those poor old woman that she needed to get a fuel in radiator flush for an additional three hundred dollars. I'm sure made a factor would suggest that if she'd actually had eighty thousand miles on her car , she said she only had thirty thousand miles on her car because she doesn't drive much. It seemed to me that this recently widowed lady was being taken advantage of. Talking people into unnecessary repairs makes me\nNot want to come back here for service or recommend you to others.

I took my 2021 Equinox in for an oil change and a question about lifter noise when the motor is cold. My Equinox has 31,000 miles on it and still under drive line warranty. The mechanic agreed the noise was there when he started the car but not noticeable after the oil change. I was told if they tear the motor down and find no issue I would be responsible for 10 hrs labor plus parts. I agreed to take the car home and see if the lifter noise returns. The noise is still present on cold mornings for several minutes before the oil warms up. Soon I will contact Morans for a follow up visit.

Brought truck in for oil and filter change. I received a call stating that the truck was done but that the tech recommended replacing rotors and pads, and broken links on sway bar. But they never mentioned anything about the airbag service light or the windshield washer fluid fault, that shows up as soon as you start the truck. So when I picked up the truck, none of this was addressed and they never reset the oil life monitor. Also on the paperwork that was sent with me, it states that the brake pads are all in the green and ok. So, I'm not sure that any of this was inspected and if it was, to what degree. Very disappointing.

The last time I was in the guy said I needed a new air filter in the car and the one under the hood so I got the interior one and said next time I would get the other one . I called the first week in December to have my car looked at. My check engine light came on and I had a diagnostic test ran at oreillys which showed that I needed an air filter. I called Morans and asked to make an appointment to have this done. I was told that you would need to do your own diagnostic testing and it would require me to leave my car overnight. I was told to call the day before to make sure there was a loaner available which I did and there was. I was told it would take about 48 hours. I expected a call after a day or two to inform me what was wrong with my car. I never received a call. I called in the morning and left a message asking for a call back. Never got a call back. I called after five days and I was told that you couldn’t find any issues with my car simply because the check engine light didn’t come on for them. Mind you, it had been on for 3 weeks consistently prior to bringing it in. So I was told by Ashley in the service dept that I would not be charged anything because no testing was done and no work was done. When I showed up to Morans to pick up my car, about 3 hours after the phone call, I was told that they actually did find that a duct was clogged and they were going to charge $100 for clearing the debris….(this was after I was told no testing was done and nothing was fixed so I would not be charged) I didn’t agree to have that done as I was not informed that it needed to be done. So the charge was removed. I was told that the check engine light would not come back on and that the issue was now resolved and I left. The next morning when I left for work the check engine light came back on and it has not shut off. I have called and left three messages for the service delay including one for the supervisor and still no one has returned my call. This makes me feel like Morans is a dealerships that I cannot trust.
